The Kentucky Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators is celebrating 30 years of service to the legal community. Our Chapter was developed to enhance the Association's goals, including fostering professional growth, hosting local educational forums and becoming a premier reference source for information concerning the professional management of legal services in the Kentucky Southern Indiana area.

Our activities include monthly chapter meetings with educational seminars and guest speakers, Annual Community Challenge Weekend, Holiday Party, Business Partners Expo, Annual Educational Retreat and much more.

In 2008, the Kentucky Chapter received the Association's Presidents' Gold Award of Excellence. This award recognized chapters for their efforts in effective chapter management.

This site was developed to:

• Provide our membership with timely information about Chapter activities.

• Facilitate quick access to empowering resource data.

• Exchange ideas for efficient administration.

• Invite other legal administrators to join the Kentucky Chapter.

• Highlight our commitment to making a positive impact on the community.

KY ALA CHAPTER GOALS

1. Foster professional growth and development of our members through various national and local educational forums in order to confirm the Chapter as the premier reference source for information concerning the professional management of legal services in the Kentucky/Southern Indiana area.

2. Provide a forum that will foster leadership traits in Chapter members to benefit the entire Kentucky/Southern Indiana legal community.

3. Monitor the latest technological, personnel, financial and facilities' management initiatives to maximize efficient resource management.

4. Maintain a positive membership Recruitment and Retainment Program.

5. Strengthen the Chapter's economic base to deepen the educational opportunities of our members.

6. Select charitable organizations in which the Chapter can identify projects as a means of community service.
