Benefits of Membership: |
Monthly Meeting: |
The Kentucky Chapter holds meetings the second Thursday of each month. The meetings are primarily held in Louisville, with periodic meetings taking place in Frankfort. During these monthly meetings, a wide variety of topics are discussed. Many of the meetings include professional speakers. Some of the topics include human resources and Kentucky labor laws. Benefits from these meetings include an excellent exchange of ideas and influences that create a cost savings and efficiency to law firm. |
Charitable Activities |
The Kentucky Chapter is interested in supporting community activities in our Kentucky cities. Two activities supported during the 1999-2000 year include, The Community Challenge Weekend and Law House 2000. In 1999, The Kentucky Chapter provided clothing and school supplies to the Home of The Innocents. And in the year 2000, we contributed $1,000 as well as numerous man-hours for the building of Law House 2000. Law House 2000 is a Habitat for Humanity House and it is something our Chapter was proud to support. |
